QuickSMS awarded a place on the Government Commercial Agency G-Cloud 15 framework

QuickSMS has been awarded a place on the Government Commercial Agency’s (GCA) G-Cloud 15 framework under Lot 2b, Software as a Service (SAAS), enabling public sector organisations across the UK to procure our secure cloud communications and enterprise messaging services through a Digital Marketplace portal.

The framework provides public sector organisations, such as central government departments, local authorities, education providers, emergency services, healthcare providers and housing associations, with a straightforward and compliant route to access QuickSMS's enterprise messaging platform.

The award marks another significant milestone for QuickSMS as demand continues to grow for secure, scalable and digitally driven communication solutions across the public sector.

Enterprise Messaging for the Public Sector

The framework has been designed to help public sector organisations accelerate digital transformation projects while simplifying procurement and reducing the time required to implement new technology solutions.

To achieve this, buyers will be able to procure a range of cloud communications services from QuickSMS, including SMS, RCS for Business, WhatsApp Business, voice, email, enterprise messaging APIs, workflow automation and omnichannel communications.

As public services continue to evolve, effective digital communication has become increasingly important. Organisations require platforms that combine security, resilience, scalability and integration capabilities to ensure important information reaches citizens, patients, service users and employees quickly and reliably.

QuickSMS currently processes more than 100 million business messages every month, supporting organisations across the public and private sectors with secure, high-volume communications, so can support these requirements, enabling organisations to automate communications, improve engagement and integrate messaging into existing systems and workflows through secure APIs.

A key area of innovation within the platform is support for RCS for Business, the next generation of mobile messaging. RCS enables organisations to deliver verified, branded and interactive communications directly within a recipient's native messaging application while maintaining SMS fallback where required to maximise reach.
